Focus
Pitch- High vs. Low
Song of the Week
High Low
Explore a website
Chrome Music Lab- Play around with all the fun apps on Chrome Music Lab. Focus especially on “Oscillators” & “Spectrogram” to see how high and low pitches are shown on the screen.
Extensions
Draw “Sound Squiggles” on paper to show how pitches move from high to low. See if you can use string to create a squiggle and see if a parent or sibling can try saying the squiggle out loud and if it matches yours! Can you find anything else to create a “sound squiggle”? Maybe you could paint it, or use a scarf to show the direction of the sound!
